History

Exeter Produce & Storage was established in 1951. We are a forth generation family operated fresh produce grower and distributor. Our product is delivered to markets in Canada, United States and the Caribbean.

In the 1960's we aggressively acquired upwards of 2,800 acres of prime agricultural farm land in Huron County and expanded our product lines to our current menu. In addition to rutabagas, our fields harvest an abundance of beans, carrots, cabbage, and green peppers. The produce is packed on site, washed, sorted, boxed or bagged then shipped to market.

Here we grow and pack high quality greenhouse bell peppers, including red, yellow and orange varieties. These peppers are harvested nine months of the year.

We are proud of our "VeriFine" product brand which has been widely recognized as an exacting standard in quality produce. We are a grower and a licensed marketer. We welcome other quality growing operations who can meet the "VeriFine" standards, to partner with us. Four generations of experience offers growers a reliable partner that can help to get the job done.

Technology plays a big role at Exeter Produce. Field crops are planted with precision using GPS technology. As a modern company, we are environmentally conscious of our impact. Fertilizer is delivered in an exacting way, to deliver desired results without waste.
